Honey – one of our rehabilitated Brushtail Possums that has since been released.
While fostering neonate kittens from newborn upwards, and getting into the rehabilitation of macropods, I noticed a lack of availability of silicone teats here in Tasmania. This was especially so for fitting the 100 ml Wombaroo bottles. With the use of 3d software, example teats, a 3D resin printer and my partner, moulds have been made. We hand dip each mould to make the teats, a process that takes a few days. As wildlife caring progressed, so did innovations in 3D products along to way.
